After flying high against the Delta Rabbits last Thursday, the Emery Spartans came back down to earth. Emery fell to Richfield 59-53. The game was a 27-27 toss-up at halftime, but Emery was outscored by Richfield in the second.
Emery lost on Tuesday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Katelyn Nielson, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kenadie Maughan, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and three blocks.
