Cox put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Gonzaga Eagles a 17-0 shutout.

Cox's victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Gonzaga, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.
