Flatonia can now show off 18 landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Ganado 62-19 at home. Given Flatonia's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 352nd, while Ganado is ranked 1173rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, after a string of 11 wins, Bloomington's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a hard 49-34 fall against Shiner. Bloomington has struggled against Shiner recently, as their matchup on Tuesday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
Flatonia's win bumped their record up to 25-4. As for Bloomington, their loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 21-8.
