The Gulf Pointe Latin Gladiators had to endure  a  three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They took down Aletheia Christian Academy 52-37  on Thursday. With that  victory, Gulf Pointe Latin brought their scoring average up to 50.1  points per game.
 Gulf Pointe Latin's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Micah Crumpler, who  scored nine points along with ten  rebounds and three  blocks. Crumpler has been hot recently, having posted two or more  blocks the last six times he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Brenden Yoder, who  scored six points along with nine  rebounds and two  steals.
 Aletheia Christian Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Jude Burke, who  scored six points along with five  rebounds and three  steals. Another player making a difference was  Brady Carlson, who  scored nine points along with two  steals.
 Gulf Pointe Latin's victory bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Aletheia Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.
