Terra Nova and Mills are an even 4-4 against one another since May of 2015, but likely not for long. The Tigers will take on the Vikings at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Terra Nova sitting on six straight wins and Mills on five.
It was a proper cat-fight when Terra Nova duked it out with San Mateo on Thursday. The Tigers were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Bearcats.

JT Snead was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Brody Finale, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.
Terra Nova always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .526. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Mills gave up the first runs on Tuesday, but they didn't let that get them down. They had just enough and edged out Design Tech 6-5. That's two games straight that the Vikings have won by just one run.
Mills let Aiden Brown and Tino Janke run wild. Brown went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI, while Janke got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and two RBI.
Terra Nova's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-5-1. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Mills, the victory got them back to even at 10-10.
Mills' pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Terra Nova has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .447. It's a different story for Mills, though, as they've only averaged .341. Will they be able to contain Terra Nova's hitters?
Everything went Terra Nova's way against Mills in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Terra Nova made off with a 19-3 win. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Vikings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
