This season hasn't been kind to the Lowcountry Leadership NaviGators, who are still winless after their tenth matchup. They had to suffer through a rough 69-22 loss at the hands of Strom Thurmond. While losing is never fun, Lowcountry Leadership can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 296th, while Strom Thurmond is ranked 109th).
It was another big night for Quan Edmond, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds for Strom Thurmond. Edmond set a new season high mark in steals with six. The team also got some help courtesy of Landen Jones, who scored 15 points along with three blocks.
Lowcountry Leadership's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Strom Thurmond, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.
Lowcountry Leadership will be playing in front of their home fans against Cross at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Strom Thurmond and Greenbrier will face off at 12:30 p.m. on January 1st without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Greenbrier has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 216 points over their last three matchups.
