 On the hitting side,  Charlotte Lowe and  Morgan Jackson stepped up to the plate in a big way.  Lowe  went 2-for-3 with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  RBI, while  Jackson  scored two  runs and  stole three bases while going 2-for-3.  Anna Kate Ruebsamen was another key player,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-4.
 Plaquemine never got on the board in their matchup on Tuesday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against White Castle on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by  a  21-2 margin over the Bulldogs. The Green Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matches by 11  runs or more this season.
 The  victory  got Plaquemine back to even at 13-13. As for University Lab, they now  have a losing record of 11-12.
 Everything went University Lab's way against Plaquemine in their previous matchup  back in March of 2023, as University Lab made off with  an  18-7 win. Do  the Cubs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Green Devils turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
