The King's Academy Lions's four-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They walked away with a 50-37 victory over Conway Christian. The victory was just what King's Academy needed coming off of a 55-29 defeat in their prior match.
Conway Christian lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Wyatt Polatty, who scored ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dalton Droll, who scored nine points.
King's Academy's win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-14. As for Conway Christian, they dropped their record down to 5-7 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. King's Academy will take on Marlboro Academy at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Conway Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Dillon Christian at 6:30 p.m.
