Clarkston can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They came out on top against the Banneker Trojans by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Angoras, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Clarkston didn't let Banneker take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-23.

Gabrielle Moore paced Clarkston's offense, picking up six kills. Moore got some help from Suily Par and her eight assists. Par was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Clarkston picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 4-8. As for Banneker, their loss dropped their record down to 5-2.
