After low-scoring totals in their previous five contests, Wheeler brought some dynamite into their most recent  game. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while going 2-for-2. She also put up a  triple, which washer first of the season.
 In other batting news,  Kayla Hutchinson was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with five  RBI, three  runs, and two  doubles. She also  hit a  triple, marking her first of the season. Another player making a difference was  Jada Charlton, who  scored three  runs while going 2-for-4.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Wheeler was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .458. The last time their  batting average was this high was  back in September of 2023.
 Wheeler's victory  ended  a  four-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 6-8. As for Marietta,  they are  on  a  28-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-15.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wheeler will venture away from home to  challenge Kell  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Marietta, they will venture away from home to  face off against McEachern  at 5:30  p.m.  on Monday.
