Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Manchester Valley). They breezed by the Francis Scott Key Eagles to the tune of 71-38 on Tuesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Mavericks as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

Owen Caine was a one-man wrecking crew for Manchester Valley as he went 9 for 13 en route to 23 points. Those 23 points gave Caine a new career-high. Trevor Hottenstein was another key player, putting up 14 points and three steals.

Manchester Valley's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-6. As for Francis Scott Key, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
