 Meanwhile, Valley Lutheran was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight  loss  dating back to last season. They were dealt  a  34-6 defeat at the hands of Veritas Prep.
 Scottsdale Preparatory Academy pushed their record up to 8-1 with the  victory, which was their fifth straight  on the road. As for Valley Lutheran, their loss dropped their record down to 0-9.
 Everything came up roses for Scottsdale Preparatory Academy against Valley Lutheran in their previous meeting  back in October of 2023, as the  squad secured  a  38-0 win.
