After soaring to 35 points the game before, Whitmire faltered in their game last Friday. They found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 0-27 punch to the gut against Dixie last Friday. Whitmire were down by 0-20 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Calhoun Falls Charter, and their matchup last Friday only extended their streak of losses to four. They lost to McCormick by a decisive 12-32 margin.
