Thompson (Alabaster) owns the No. 1 spot in the Preseason MaxPreps Top 25.
The Warriors have won five state crowns in the past six seasons. Quarterback
Trent Seaborn has started since eighth grade and is back for his junior season with 6,453 passing yards and 68 touchdowns through the air during his tenure.
Seniors
Viliami Moala (6-3, 340, DL),
Peter Ramil (6-5, 240, EDGE, South Florida commitment) and
Pryce Lewis (5-8, 160, WR) also lead the way for Thompson.
The best player in the state is senior wide receiver
Cederian Morgan of
Benjamin Russell (Alexander City). Committed to Alabama, the five-star caught 70 passes for for 1,162 yards and 14 touchdowns in 2024.
