While it was all tied up 28-28 at halftime, Lowcountry Prep were not quite the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Knights's equal in the second half on Monday. Lowcountry Prep fell 61-54 to the Knights. Lowcountry Prep was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.
St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jackson DaGrossa, who scored 28 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points DaGrossa has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Cody Phillips, who scored 20 points along with six rebounds.
Lowcountry Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 4-7.
Lowcountry Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now. St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against the Rams at 6:30 p.m. on February 2nd. Ragin Prep Christian Academy will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
