The Steinbrenner Warriors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight loss. They took a hard 66-51 fall against Fairdale. While losing is never fun, Steinbrenner can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 631st in Florida, while Fairdale is ranked 23rd in Kentucky).
Despite the loss, Steinbrenner still got an impressive performance from Justice Momrik, who scored 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Manny Torres, who scored nine points along with three steals.
Steinbrenner's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Fairdale, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-2.
Steinbrenner does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Fairdale also has no future games currently scheduled.
