Calhoun Academy struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only four offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Thomas Heyward Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Calhoun Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.
Thomas Heyward Academy will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Patrick Henry Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 9, 2024. Calhoun Academy will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Jefferson Davis Academy at 12:00 p.m. on December 29th. Hopefully Jefferson Davis Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Wednesday.
