It was a good run, but the Allegany Campers unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They received a tough blow as they fell 52-37 to Goretti. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Allegany has scored all season.
Goretti's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Danica Bennett led the charge by dropping a double-double on 12 points and 12 rebounds. Amiyah Fulton was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Allegany's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Goretti, their win bumped their record up to 8-6.
Allegany is on the road again on Monday and play against Clear Spring on January 8th. As for Goretti, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Washington at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
