As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Nighswonger has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ashley Ibanez, who  scored  no points along with five  rebounds and five  steals.
 Meanwhile,  you can't lose the  matchup if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Byers' strategy against Colorado Springs School on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Byers blew Colorado Springs School out of the water with a  65-7 final score. With Byers ahead  37-5 at the half, the  contest was all but over already.
 Byers' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Sophie Linnebur led the charge by  scoring 15 points along with six  steals. Linnebur has been hot recently, having posted two or more  steals the last seven times she's  played.  Y's victory  ended a three-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 10-8. Byers' record now sits at 7-11.
