Mozes Morris Turns in Season-Best  Performance
 Lake Norman was led to victory by  Mozes Morris, who turned in his biggest game of the season  on Friday. Morris rushed for 142 yards and two touchdowns, good enough to  set a new career-high in  rushing yards in the process. That high mark didn't come from nowhere:  he has now  rushed for 111 or more in the last three games he's  played.
 This season,  Morris  has run in 8 touchdowns while averaging 96.4 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after eight games last season,  he had four  rushing touchdowns.

South Iredell is undefeated when  Johnson posts three or  more  passing touchdowns, but 0-3 otherwise.
 Johnson is probably looking forward to his next game, a  home matchup against Lake Norman on Friday. When  Johnson last faced the Wildcats  back in October of 2023, he rushed for 140 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries.
