The Savanna Rebels will head out on the road to face off against the Anaheim Colonists at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Savanna's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last 11 games.
Savanna scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Santa Ana Valley 90-43 at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Savanna has posted yet this season.
Dontey Henderson was his usual excellent self, scoring 29 points along with six rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Damarian Wright, who scored 17 points.
Anaheim fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They took down Century 57-42 on Thursday.
Savanna has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a massive bump to their 12-8 record this season. As for Anaheim, they pushed their record up to 7-16 with that win, which was their third straight at home.
Savanna beat Anaheim 57-45 in their previous matchup two weeks ago. The rematch might be a little tougher for Savanna since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
