The Ontario Warriors can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They snuck past Fredericktown with a 52-48 win. That's another feather in the cap for Ontario, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Fredericktown lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Cally Carpenter, who scored 16 points along with four steals. Carpenter has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. Ella Bouton was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.
Ontario's victory bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Fredericktown, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ontario will take on Galion at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Galion is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Fredericktown, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Danville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
