After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Piedmont Hills, Pioneer was happy to have turned things around  on Monday. Everything went their way against the Silver Creek Raiders as they made off with  a  7-1 victory. This was a revenge game for the Mustangs: when they faced off against the Raiders  back in March, they had to take a  16-6  loss.
Not much got past  Gina Scripoch, who gave up just  five  hits and racked up seven Ks to keep Silver Creek off the board. Scripoch has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in eight consecutive appearances.
 At the plate,  Cara Goodrich was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with three  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  triple. Another player making a difference was  Olivia Krump, who  went 2-for-4 with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and two  RBI.
Pioneer's record now sits at 6-13. As for Silver Creek, their defeat was  their fourth straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 8-13.
 Pioneer has already played their next game,  a  12-2  win against Del Mar on the 7th. As for Silver Creek, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next  contest,  a  13-1  loss against Live Oak on the 7th.
