They were the victim of a rough 55-33 defeat at the hands of NorthPoint Christian Academy. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points St. Anne Catholic has scored all season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead NorthPoint Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Talan Pollack, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 22 rebounds. Those 23 points set a new season-high mark for him. Micah Enriquez was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with five steals.
St. Anne Catholic bumped their record down to 2-3 with that loss, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 29.8 points per game. As for NorthPoint Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 8-5 record this season.
St. Anne Catholic will head out on the road to face off against NorthPoint Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully NorthPoint Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Monday. As for they, they will look to defend their home court against St. Anne Catholic at 7:00 p.m.
