It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Clinton-Massie Falcons can now relate to. They received a tough blow on Friday as they fell 21-3 to Archbishop Alter. Clinton-Massie's loss signaled the end of their 12-game winning streak.
Kaden Zantene threw for 48 yards on three of seven attempts. Cooper Carmack was his top target, picking up 34 receiving yards.
Clinton-Massie's defeat dropped their record down to 12-1. As for Archbishop Alter, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.
Clinton-Massie does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Archbishop Alter will be playing at home against Wyoming at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Wyoming is looking to tack on another W to their six-game streak on the road.
