Manteca extended their winning streak to seven on Friday, bumping them up to 7-0. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Mountain House Mustangs 63-24. Considering the Buffaloes have won six contests by more than 28 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Nikko Juarez continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 165 yards and four touchdowns on only eight carries. That's the most rushing touchdowns he has posted since back in September of 2024. Jaylin Harris also helped out with an impressive 86 receiving yards.
As for Mountain House, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season. While losing is never fun, they can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 564th, while Manteca is ranked 30th).
Despite the loss, Mountain House still got an impressive performance from Erin Foster, who rushed for 105 yards and one score on only 13 carries, and also threw for 178 yards and one TD on only 16 passes. Foster's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 102 rushing yards. Another player making a difference was Jacoby Johnson, who gained 118 total yards and a touchdown.
