The Orangeville Broncos put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. Couldn't have asked for a better way to wrap up 2023 than the 67-39 stomp they got on the road against Proviso West. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Orangeville's points. Another player making a difference was Laney Cahoon, who scored 18 points along with five steals.
Orangeville's victory bumped their record up to 15-0. As for Proviso West, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6-1.
Orangeville will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Boylan Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Boylan Catholic is on a three-game streak of home wins, Orangeville a five-game streak of away wins (dating back to last season)-- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
