Fans got a thrill when Jarod Cousins and Stone Faulkenberry connected against Gravette. The connection was good for 90 yards, the longest such play in 4A Region 1 this season.
Adding to the longest winning streak in the league this week, Lincoln beat Pea Ridge 37-7. The victory was the fifth in a row for the Wolves.
Berryville's dynamic duo of Austin Carr and Ethan Chapin proved to be unstoppable against Ozark, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Carr threw for 183 yards and 2 touchdowns and Chapin had 137 yards receiving. Avery Logan helped Berryville's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 46 yards.
He went 11-17 with 1 interception.
Gentry's Cousins and Faulkenberry led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 5-11 quarterback Cousins has thrown for 723 yards this season, while Faulkenberry has 16 catches for 367 yards. The Lions' Cedric Duarte leads the league in rushing yards with 566.
The top two teams in 4A Region 1 will face off this week when first place Lincoln takes on second place Prairie Grove.

The Pioneers and Gravette played the closest game in the league this week, with the Pioneers eventually emerging with a 21-19 victory. Cousins threw for 162 yards and 1 touchdown and ran for 71 yards in the win.
