Two dominant  guards in  Madyson Sokolowski and  Maria Goske are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Keystone Wildcats will take on the Beaumont School Blue Streaks in a tournament  on Saturday. Last Monday, Keystone humbled  Wellington with  a  59-27 victory. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14  games by 20  points or more this season.

 Keystone can attribute much of their success to   Sokolowski, who  went 7 of 16  en route to 17  points in addition to six  assists and three  steals, and   Vivian Cassell, who  went 6 for 12  to rack up 16 points along with six  rebounds and five  steals. Cassell is also on a roll when it comes to  shooting accuracy, as she's  posted one of at least 45% in the last three games she's  played.  Brooklyn Barber was another key player,  putting up 12  points.
Meanwhile, Beaumont School ended up a good deal behind Elyria Catholic on Saturday and lost  47-31. While losing is never fun, the Blue Streaks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings  (they are ranked 505th, while the Panthers are ranked 69th).
 Keystone will have to contain  Goske as she made an impact in Beaumont School's last game. She  went 9 for 17  on her way to 24 points. That's the most  points  Goske has posted since back in November of 2024.
 Beaumont School's loss dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Keystone, their victory bumped their record up to 20-2.
This contest  is shaping up to be a blowout:  Keystone hasn't had any problem running up the score this season,  having  averaged 60.3 points per game.
