Ashley put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the South Brunswick Cougars by a score of 6-3. This was payback for the Screaming Eagle, who suffered a 4-3 loss the last time these two teams met.
Jackson Lee tossed a big game, striking out nine batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Tanner Berry, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three RBI. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April of 2024.
