On Wednesday, in a tight contest that could have gone either way, Jordan Christian Prep made off with a 45-44 victory over the Highlanders. 45 seems to be a good number for Jordan Christian Prep as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
Jordan Christian Prep found their leader in underclassman Amelia Williams, who scored 24 points along with eight steals and five rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Williams has scored at least a third of Jordan Christian Prep's points. Delyana Morris was another key contributor, scoring six points along with 12 rebounds.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to DME Academy Blue, who are still winless after their seventh matchup. They took a 48-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of Downey Christian.
Jordan Christian Prep pushed their record up to 15-6 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.3 points per game. As for DME Academy Blue, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.
