The Wichita County Indians will be playing at home against the Kiowa County Mavericks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Wichita County will be looking to keep their 21-game home win streak (dating back to last season) alive.
Wichita County can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Friday. They beat South Gray by the very same score they won with last week: 64-0. Wichita County's offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.
Wyatt Gardner was his usual excellent self, throwing for 147 yards and four touchdowns while completing 100% of his passes, and also punching in two touchdowns on the ground. Another player making a difference was Colton Harbin, who picked up 85 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Kiowa County fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Macksville 68-22 at home.
Their wins bumped Wichita County to 8-0 and Kiowa County to 2-6.
