 Meanwhile, Rockford lost  8-1 to Clarksville on Friday. The Warriors have struggled against the Indians recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.
 Riceville moved to 17-8 with that  victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Rockford, their loss dropped their record down to 7-11.
 Riceville beat Rockford 5-1  when the teams last played  on June 4th. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
