Brody Buoncristiani posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out nine batters over seven innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in 12 consecutive appearances.

Buoncristiani's strong effort led Chino Hills over Upland and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Highlanders/Scots are limping into the matchup having lost six straight at home.
