Rich is 6-1 against the Miners since March of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. The Rich Rebels just played last night, but they'll still head out to face the Tintic Miners at 4:30 p.m. on February 3rd. Rich is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last six games.
Rich scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 80-55 margin over Tintic. Rich has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 22 points or more this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Rich to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jaden Desch, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten assists. It was the first time this season that Desch posted eight or more assists. Another player making a difference was Ridge Lundgren, who shot 5-for-8 from deep and dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds.
Rich is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. As for Tintic, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-9.
Everything went Rich's way against the Miners when the teams last played on Friday as the Rebels made off with a 80-55 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Rich since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
