Wes Burford's rushing tear continued on Friday as he dropped his eighth-straight game with 143+ rushing yards dating back to last season. He rushed for 153 yards and two touchdowns.
Burford is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Sierra on Friday. Burford rushed for 287 yards and four touchdowns the last time he and the Timberwolves duked it out back in September of 2023.

Central Catholic found a leader in Joey Alcutt as the squad took down Oakdale on Friday. Alcutt was unstoppable, rushing for 115 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries. He has become a key player for Central Catholic: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 1-3 otherwise.
