Aberdeen pushed their score all the way to 61 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were beaten by Loyola Blakefield 99-61.
Aberdeen's defeat came about despite a quality game from DARION PARRIS, who scored 18 points along with five rebounds. PARRIS scored a full 29.5% of Aberdeen's points, the sixth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was JUSTIN FRANKLIN, who scored 12 points.
Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Dunbar at home against Douglass last Thursday as the team secured a 74-14 win.
Aberdeen's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Dunbar, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
Aberdeen didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Dunbar in their previous matchup back in December of 2022, but they still walked away with a 58-54 victory. Will Aberdeen repeat their success, or does Dunbar have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
