Littlefield's found some homefield redemption this week after a tough overtime loss to Brownfield on Tuesday. The Littlefield Wildcats came out on top in a nail-biter against the Muleshoe Mules  and snuck past  5-4. This was payback for Littlefield, who suffered  a  5-1  defeat the last time these two teams met.
  Callie Saldana made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing  an inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Saldana was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while going 1-for-3.
 In other batting news,  Brendle Ray was  incredible,  going 1-for-3 with a  home run, a  stolen base,  and two  RBI.  Brinley Acevedo was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3.
 Like Littlefield, Muleshoe also got a great game from a two-way player:  Adalie Agundis. On the mound, she  struck out six batters over  six innings while giving up  three earned  (and two unearned) runs off   five  hits. Agundis has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in five consecutive pitching appearances. Agundis was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while going 1-for-4.
 Agundis wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  seven players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Maci Stearmer, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-1.
 Littlefield is  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record  this season. As for Muleshoe,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 22-8-1.
 Littlefield does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Muleshoe also has no future games currently scheduled.
