The Cactus Cobras will square off against the Cortez Colts at 3:45  p.m.  on Wednesday. Cactus is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.6  runs per game  this season.
Cactus took a loss when they played away from home  on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed  on Tuesday. They never let Westview get on the board and left with  a   25-0  win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Cobras considering their two-run performance the  matchup before.
 Ciara Anthony made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 3-for-4 with six  RBI, four  runs,  and two  triples.
 In other pitching news,  Charlee Shaver looked comfortable as she  tossed one inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. The dominant performance also gave  her a new career-high in  strikeouts (two).
