Tim Endicott and Rigo Rodriguez provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Marysville. The longest such play in Golden Empire this season, the connection resulted in 73 yards.
The Indians moved up to 876 from 905 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. Marysville was able to make move up by topping Lindhurst 42-19.
The Blazers' dynamic duo of Endicott and Logan Springfield proved tough for Cullen Meyer's team to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Endicott threw for 320 yards and three touchdowns and Springfield had 118 yards receiving. Deion Blakely helped Lindhurst's passing attack out by catching seven balls for 109 yards.
Francisco Garcia was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 11 carries, he ran for 190 yards as the Indians lost to the Indians. Juan Briseno also contributed to the rushing game with 122 yards on the ground.
Jason Neiber's team's Endicott and Zach Kitchen have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading Golden Empire in both passing and receiving yards. Endicott has thrown for 1044 yards this season, while Kitchen, a 5-foot-11 receiver, has 21 catches for 359 yards. Mesa Verde's Christian Garcia leads the league in rushing yards with 1096.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Dixon takes on Marysville. The Rams are in first place, while the Indians are in fourth place.
