Football Recap: Shadow Hills Skates Past Palm Springs with Ease

Shadow Hills got themselves on the board against Palm Springs on Tuesday, but Palm Springs never followed suit. They breezed past the Indians to the tune of 40-0. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by 31 points or more this season.

Shadow Hills didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Vanessa Monaco and Jackie Sanchez. Sanchez is also on a roll when it comes to defended passes, as she's now defended at least one in each of the last three games she's played.

Shadow Hills pushed their record up to 13-3 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 32.3 points over those games. As for Palm Springs, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Looking ahead, Shadow Hills will be playing at home against Desert Hot Springs at 5:00 p.m. on the 12th. As for Palm Springs, they will head out to face off against Indio at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
