The Stall Warriors''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss. Their rough 34-10 loss to Cane Bay might stick with them for a while. Stall has struggled against Cane Bay recently, as their game on Friday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Deshawn Tompkins was the offensive standout of the contest as he rushed for 83 yards and a touchdown. Tompkins was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 65 yards.
Stall's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 2-6. The slump could be explained by some tough opposition over that stretch, namely Cane Bay, Summerville, and Lucy Beckham.
