Volleyball Recap: Sinton's Winning Streak Snapped at Three Games

It was a good run, but Sinton unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Orange Grove Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 two weeks ago.

While Sinton ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-20.

Sinton now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Orange Grove, they pushed their record up to 11-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sinton will face off against Cuero at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Orange Grove, they will be playing at home against Incarnate Word Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
