Fort Dorchester's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Stone Bridge Bulldogs with a sharp 10-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Patriots, who have now won six contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Thomas Wamer looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, Fort Dorchester let Daniel Schenk and Jansen Bohanon run wild. Schenk went 2-for-3 with three runs and three RBI, while Bohanon went 3-for-4 with four RBI and one double. Those three hits gave Bohanon a new career-high. Lee Lovelace was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.

Fort Dorchester is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games. As for Stone Bridge, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-5.
