After flying high against The Connection School of Houston Bears last Saturday, the Humble Christian Cougars came back down to earth. Humble Christian was the victim of a tough 62-41 defeat at the hands of Texas Christian on Tuesday. Humble Christian has struggled against Texas Christian recently, as their matchup on Tuesday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Humble Christian still got an impressive performance from Noah Vickers, who scored 22 points along with nine rebounds and four steals. Vickers hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Aayden Dozier, who scored six points along with five steals.
Humble Christian's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-9. As for Texas Christian, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-8.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing School of the Woods the next time they take the court. Humble Christian will host School of the Woods at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Texas Christian will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
