Central was led to victory by Julia Scheuer, who turned in her biggest game of the season on Wednesday. Scheuer almost dropped a triple-double on 21 points, ten boards, and nine steals, good enough to set a new career-high in points in the process. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: she has now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played.

Scheuer and Central will face off against Dundee-Crown at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rockets got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Chargers, probably because Scheuer had a solid game then too: she went 8 for 9 on her way to 17 points along with eight rebounds and five steals.
