The Cary Imps scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They walked away with a 58-50 win over Apex Friendship. The win made it back-to-back wins for Cary.
Cary was led to victory by Nadia Snesarev and Kyndall Brewington. Snesarev scored 17 points along with nine rebounds and two steals, while Brewington scored 25 points along with six assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Brewington has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Luci Augustson, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds.
Cary's victory bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Apex Friendship, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-8.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cary will stay at home for another game and welcome Green Hope at 4:30 p.m. on January 23rd. Apex Friendship will take on Green Level at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Green Level focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Friday.
