Elmwood posted their biggest win since January 20, 2024 on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 51-30 margin over the Vanlue Wildcats. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Royals also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Despite the loss, Vanlue still got an impressive performance from Owen Roszman, who posted ten points and three steals. Roszman has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last three times he's played.

Elmwood's victory bumped their record up to 3-10. As for Vanlue, their loss was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-12.

Elmwood will venture away from home to square off against St. Joseph Central Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on February 1st. As for Vanlue, they and Temple Christian will face off at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
