There's no place like home for Tennessee Heat, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Lancaster Christian Academy 56-29 at home. Tennessee Heat pushed the score to 52-17 by the end of the third, a deficit Lancaster Christian Academy cut but never quite recovered from.
Tennessee Heat was led to victory by Sophia Cooper and Roxi Scott. Cooper scored 20 points along with six steals and three blocks, while Scott scored 24 points along with five rebounds and four steals. It was the first time this season that Cooper posted two or more blocks. Another player making a difference was Charis Cook, who scored five points along with eight steals and two blocks.
Tennessee Heat pushed their record up to 6-17 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.3 points per game. As for Lancaster Christian Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.
