Mid-Carolina's game two weeks ago was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Fairfield Central Griffins with a sharp 11-1 win. Considering Mid-Carolina have won eight games by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Fairfield Central from everywhere, as eight different players booted in a goal. Cash Knight led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by himself.

Mid-Carolina's victory bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Fairfield Central, their loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-10.

Mid-Carolina didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 defeat against Newberry on the 23rd. Hopefully Fairfield Central paid attention to the Rebels' match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Rebels at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
